William B. Sullivant, Of Counsel
Bill Sullivant is a distinguished legal leader with a legacy of service and excellence spanning over six decades. A graduate of the University of Texas (BA, 1961) and the University of Texas Law School (Doctor of Jurisprudence, 1963), he was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Texas that same year. His career reflects an unwavering commitment to justice, beginning as Cooke County Attorney (1965-71) and advancing to District Attorney of the 235th District (1971-72). He then served as a Texas State Representative for the 23rd District (1973-1981), shaping legislation with integrity and dedication.
A leader in the legal community, Sullivant served as President of the Cooke County Bar Association (1968) and as a member of the State Bar of Texas District 14-B Grievance Committee (1995-2001). Since 1988, he has been a distinguished member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Recognized for his legal prowess and ethical leadership, he has earned the prestigious AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for over 40 years—one of the highest honors in the legal profession.
Since 1977, Sullivant has been the Managing Partner of Sullivant Law Firm, LLP in Gainesville, TX, where his experience, leadership, and dedication to justice continue to make a lasting impact.
